Natural Herbal Remedies for Throat Pain

1.Honey are a great natural relief for sore throat indeed. Honey contains antibacterial process which will cure the sore throat.Taking an herbal tea with a combination of honey will help to cure sore throat.

2.Honey with combined with Lemon form a sure remedy for sore throat. Add a table spoon of honey to a glass of lime water. This gives sudden relief from throat pain with hot water.For cold mix a tsp of honey with a tsp of lime juice and to this add hot water to make a syrup like which when swallowed soothes the throat, eases body aches.Ginger, cinnamon and honey. Since cinnamon and ginger have properties to help heal, this is a very effective natural remedy for sore throat. Mix this together with warm water and drink as a tea.

3.To a glass of hot water put a piece of cinnamon, a smashed ginger piece, crushed pepper corns few and 1-2 tsp of honey and then mix well and filter it. Take this luke warm which will reduce the effects of cold.

4. Gargle with a glass of warm salt water. This is an effective and time tested method against sore throat.

5. Vitamin C is one of the best natural solutions for sore throats. Vitamin boosts your immune system to fight against sore throat. It can be easily provided by oranges papaya etc..

6.Marshmallow root. One great natural cure for sore throats. Make a tea with this root. Steep 2 teaspoons of this herb in a cup of boiling water for 10 minutes. Strain it and take it as a drink. Drink 3 to 5 cups of this to help soothe sore throat.Marshmallow root tea for sore throat

7.Turmeric powder. Try out turmeric powder as a solution to gargle. Combine this to a cup of water, half teaspoon of salt and half teaspoon of turmeric powder. Gargle 3x a day and provide relief. If you don’t want to gargle with this concoction, you can mix it with hot milk and drink it 2x a day.

8.Tamarind powder. Use this sore throat remedy as a gargle solution. Get tamarind powder from the dry leaves and prepare it into a solution.

9.Liquorice or licorice. Chewing the raw liquorices gives relief to sore throat.

10.Cinnamon powder. Combined with Honey and pepper powder soothes the throat pain.
Mix a teaspoon of powdered cinnamon and boil it with a glass of water including a pinch of pepper powder. Also add in 2 teaspoons of honey. You can also use cinnamon oil mixed with honey to also help soothe the pain.
